CANDIDATE DETAILS
This program is designed for boys 15-16 years of age from disadvantaged communities in Milwaukee, WI. The program begins in June and concludes in August. Participants are selected through applications and interviews.

DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAM
The teens work in service industries such as restaurants, hotels, golf courses, and grocery stores in Door County. Their jobs are in close proximity to the DCSH house. They are paid a competitive wage and learn essential work skills that will serve them well into the future.

ACCOMMODATIONS AND LOGISTICS
Housing, meals and transportation are provided by DCSH. The teens are supervised by two teachers from the Milwaukee Public School System who live with the teens in the house.
